Manor house farm is an ideal center for exploring the tranquil valleys of the Dove, Churnet and Manifold, or visiting Alton Towers (2 miles away), Sudbury Hall (6 miles), Shugborough Hall, Haddon Hall, Chatsworth and the Pottery shops and museums of Stoke-on-Trent. Close by are the historic market towns of Ashbourne and Uttoxeter. The farm is a good base for golf, swimming, cycling and pony trekking.
